Entomophagy is the human consumption of insects as food. The eggs, larvae, pupae, and adults of certain insect species have been eaten by humans since prehistoric times and continue to be an item of the human nutrition in contemporary times. The goal is to educate the public on entomophagy and the idea of insects as a sustainable alternative to meat. The primary target audience is people who are environmentlly aware and passionate about sustainabilty. By reaching this group of people first, hopefully they will then share their new knowledge with colleagues and friends. The primary audience with the poster is the general public. Unlike the book, the poster can hang in a more public space.
